Abstract: Tuned to the right network: Chiral, heterometallic coordination polymers can be prepared readily by using the chiral (2S,3S)-1,2,3,4-butanetetramine, a labile, divalent transition-metal cation such as Cu2+, and an oligonuclear, rhenium–chalcogenide–cyano cluster as starting materials (see picture).
