Abstract: Five new 2D and 3D metal-organic frameworks formed by divalent metal ions Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, and Pb2+ and γ-cyclodextrin were synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. CD-MOFs composed of γ-CD and the Ca2+ or Ba2+ cations were obtained for the first time. The compounds obtained considerably expand the class of coordination polymers based on non-alkali metal ions and γ-CD.
